INGREDIENTS
- 4 Corn flour tortillas
- 2 Boneless skinless chicken breast
- ¾ Cup chicken stock
- 3 Tbsp Brasa Sauce, plus more for drizzling on the tacos
- 1 Lime for garnish
- ½ Cup shredded cabbage (optional)
- 1 Avocado, sliced and fanned
- Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat a saucepan over medium heat and drizzle oil. Remove the chicken breast from the packaging and pat dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken on the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
- Pour the chicken stock into the pan and reduce the heat to low/medium. Poach the chicken for 7-10 minutes or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165F.
- Take the chicken out of the pan and use two forks to shred the chicken in a bowl. You can also use a stand mixer to shred the chicken.
- Pour the Brasa Sauce over the shredded chicken breast and toss.
- Heat a smaller saucepan over medium low heat. Place the corn flour tortilla on the pan to warm. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side or until desired warmness.
- To assemble the tacos, add the shredded chicken to the tortilla. Top with the shredded cabbage and sliced avocado. Drizzle the taco with more Brasa Sauce and enjoy!
