  • 2 lbs beef short ribs
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ cup Brasa Sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 315°F.
  2. Grease a 13x9 inch baking tray and arrange the short ribs in it.
  3. Season both sides of the short ribs with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside for 35 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cumin, cinnamon, smoked paprika, and Brasa Sauce until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture over the short ribs, making sure to coat each rib evenly in the sauce.
  6. Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours, or until the beef is tender and falls off the bone.
  7. During the last 30 minutes, remove the aluminum foil to allow the short ribs to brown.
  8. Serve immediately with mashed potatoes.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, and enjoy!
